I went to the download list to be sure it is the Heinlein book, since there are two other books with that title and Viji is our Indian person. I read all the history/comments. At one point it was sent back with Carrie's comment to replace double section breaks with a single section break or page break. That appeared to be all that was necessary. I don't know what copy is sitting there now. Viji and a bookshare volunteer are the ones who had it just before Carrie's note, and if she could fix and upload her copy that would be quickest--but I don't know if the copies you have been working on, Aaron, need more than that or not. And it does not seem as if there was a Hold for Viji. Just that she (he?) was working on it and uploaded it. I doubt that he/she looked for it again on the download list. Now where all that leaves the book, I don't know. smile G.Cindy ***WISH LIST (CALLED REQUESTED ADDITIONS TO THE BOOKSHARE COLLECTION)IS AVAILABLE AT http://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/Book_Requests.htm http://www.friendsofbookshare.org/ http://studentpages.alma.edu/~07jmyate/book_requests.htm A LIST OF BOOKS CURRENTLY BEING SCANNED IS AVAILABLE AT http://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/scanning.html Jake's site for useful links: http://www.jbrownell.com/bkslinks.html --- On Mon, 5/19/08, Aaron Cannon <cannona@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Aaron Cannon <cannona@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Stranger in a Strange Land > To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Monday, May 19, 2008, 6:03 AM > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: RIPEMD160 > > I haven't cracked it yet, but the submitter does say it > is excellent, where > as the current version in the collection is only good. > > I was planning on reading it anyway, so I'll be getting > to it shortly. > > Aaron > > - -- > Skype: cannona > MSN/Windows Messenger: cannona@xxxxxxxxxxx (don't send > email to the hotmail > address.) > - ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Carrie Karnos" <ckarnos@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, May 18, 2008 10:54 PM > Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Stranger in a Strange Land > > > > If the new version of Stranger in a Strange Land is > rated excellent, I'll > > delete the current good version and accept the new > excellent one. > > Probably a quarter of the books I replace are not > BSO's.
