Hi Ilene, Here's the most effective way to deal with chapter headings. This is what your page should look like: Page break Blank line Page number Blank line Chapter heading Blank line Text on the page Blank line Next page break. If the page number is at the bottom of the page, move it to the top. If the page number is at the top, do we hve it on the same line as the chapter heading or go down to the chapter heading leaving a blank line? 2. If the page number is on the top do we need to have a line with just "Chapter" written on it in between the number and the real chapter heading? 3. What if the page number were on the bottom? I know we had a big discussion about this but I cannot remember the results well enough not to bring it up again. Can't find anything in the scanning manual either, although I am still not able to get to some of the links and haven't heard the reason yet from Support. Thanks, friends.
