Hi Deborah, I do this when I do the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo
Willems. Granted it's not the exact same situation you have, but those
books have the pig with a "word bubble" above his head and the elephant too
and without something you wouldn't know which animal was talking.
I put [Piggie says: words here]
and
[Elephant says: words here]
to show which animal is talking.
