[bksvol-discuss] Question about Lower Case Roman Numerals

Greetings,
I see in one of the articles in the volunteer manual that we are to put the
preliminary page numbers in lower case Roman numerals. Why is this? I
thought those were capitalized. When I put them in lower case K1000 does
not seem to recognize them as Roman numerals, but it does when I capitalize
at least the first letter starting with Ii (although Jaws apparently
doesn't have the same reaction.) I'm working on a book now and might as
well get confirmation so I can do it right.
