Hi Ann,
For goodness' sake! If you'd read this thread before starting your lecture, you'd have known that this book was a print book and was scanned and submitted to bookshare legally by another of us volunteers. Cool it!

Hi all,

Why is it that whenever something like this happens the poster
automatically assumes that whatever aberration has occurred is somehow
a new thing that's all of a sudden been approved. Did anybody get a
notice from Madeleine that submission of electronic texts has become
kosher? If not, then the correct assumption is that whatever book this
is, no matter who submitted it, is a forbidden submission. If the book
was submitted from an electronic scan, be it Kindle, Google Book,
Chrome Book, or other source of book, even Gutenberg, Bookshare can't
and won't take it.

What would clinch the deal is if there are no page breaks. If there
are no page breaks, then reject the book forthwith! I didn't say page
numbers, I said page breaks.

<smiling> Deborah, no need for confusion. If you didn't get an
official notice of a change in policy, then there ain't been one. If
there ain't been one, then conditions h'ain't changed. Adherence to
authority makes life so much simpler. If you decide that you are only
going to listen to one authority, then you get rid of all your worries!
Everything but the official authority's pronouncements are chaff in the
wind, and therefore to be discarded. Proceed as usual.
