Both Ann and Robert have offered to take this one so I'll let you two work it
out.
It's already in the checkout queue with a hold for Maithe. She doesn't want it
so you can ignore the hold.

Thank you both for volunteering to proof this.
Christina

  Yep, it's the first book.

Bookshare has the second one and the third one... I think it's the third one.

I wanted to fill in the gap.

Is this the first book in the series? If not, who is the author that way I
can start the first book, and whoever wants to proof this one, can do so. I
don't want to jump ahead of myself, if this book is a seaqual or further down
in the series.

I'm honestly not sure. I read the sequel and it didn't have curse words or
sexual content.

The main character is a youth so it could be intended for high school
readers but it isn't categorized that way.

Is this book meant for young readers, if not, I will gladly take it on.

      Hello.

I'm looking for a proofer for Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara. The
previous proofer didn't enjoy the book as much as she thought she would.

      I put the synopsis below.

      Christina

Long Synopsis: = Seven years ago Kaylin fled the crime-riddled streets of
Nightshade, knowing that something was after her. Children were being murdered
-- and all had the same odd markings that mysteriously appeared on her
own skin. ...Since then, she's learned to read, she's learned to fight and she's
become one of the vaunted Hawks who patrol and police the City of
Elantra. Alongside the winged Aerians and the immortal Barrani, she's made a
place for
herself, far from the mean streets of her birth. But children are once
again dying, and a dark and familiar pattern is emerging. Kaylin is ordered back
into Nightshade with a partner she knows she can't trust, a Dragon lord
for a companion and a device to contain her powers -- powers that no other human
has. Her task is simple -- find the killer, stop the murders... and
survive the attentions of those who claim to be her allies!
