Hi, Cindy, I think I'd object to omnibuses if the books in them were out of sequence. Is that what bugs you about them? Regards, Kim. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cindy Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2010 1:49 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Joan Johnston I'm not a member, so I don't know that my opinion is relevant, but personally, I avoid the omnibus collections. I prefer to read the series' individual books in order, even if I have to wait for the next one to come from the library (many holds before me); then I like to read the separate novels by that author. I'm in the process of reading the Gerogette Heyer books and just read one Loretta Chase book that was recommended on a site that listed favorite and award-winning regency romances. (I read library books in the bathroom and when in the car waiting for my husband when he's running errands, so it detract from my bookshare work. smile.
