Your computer may have a com 2, but com three is highly unlikely. The number exists, but is only for modems and internal devices. Do you know if you have a second physical com port on the back of your computer? If so try connecting your braille lite to it and substituting com 2 anywhere where the directions indicate com 1. I don't know if you are using hyperterm to transfer files or the piece of software developed specifically for braille 'n speaks and lites.
