I just have them put all the various canned goods of one type into separate bags and label the bags. Beans in one bag, tomato sauce in another bag. Then I can take the cans home and put them on their respective shelves and/or label the cans themselves at my leisure. ----- Original Message ----- From: "E." <thoth93@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I am happy when I can find a employee of a grocery store who will pick me up cans of whatever I want let alone put labels on them.

I label things at home.

As i explained before this means buying several cans of the same thing (say tomatoes) and nothing else in cans the same size as the tomato cans on that trip.

I have finally convinced my grocery store to help me put together an order which I call in beforehand and then go pick up.

This solution does not work during the winter when walking on ice is difficult but it does work for most of the year when there is no ice.
