Hi Garry:

I have validated 2 of your submissions and there was correct pagination. For
those who use k1000 and or openbook these programs will retain correct page
breaks. Meaning that if a certain book has 500 page there will be 500 pages.
However, when scanning with these programs collumns must be turned off, 2 page
mode must be turned on, (provided you are scanning 2 pages at a time,) keep
blank pages, and save as rtf. If yu follow these tips you should be able to
submit books with correct pagination. I can not speak for other OCR packages.

Not sure you can be sure. Page up and page-down will move you from page to
page. Unless they have headers, all you'll get is more text. I think that \p
will search for pages, but don't understand what the point would be.
If you do have numbers, you could always make your own breaks with
ctrl-enter, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. How would you know whether
they were supposed to be at the top or bottom unless, of course, the last page
in the book made that obvious.
This whole discussion leaves me somewhat disheartened and I've reconcluded to
submit my books as I'd want and let BS do what it wants to them.

How do I make sure there are the correct page breaks in a file using k1000?
Specifically, in the find dialogue what do I search for?
