HI Cindy,

That's a good point about approvals and renewals. Though if the approval
process used the first in first out approach everyone would be equal in the
approval process and this would be a non issue.

I think having a maximum turn around time would be nice and give submitters
and validators a nice little incentive. Even if it was a one or two week
turn around from the time it was submitted after validation. Yes, all the
admin duties are important but there wouldn't be a Bookshare without the end
users. Like with any well run business the customer/consumers are the ones
who keep the doors open.

I know of one member who is thinking of not renewing
because she is 13 books shy of the credits required
and doesn't want to pay. In her case, it's partly her
fault, because she got busy with other things and
didn't keep up submitting and time got away from
her--but what about people whose books for credits
have been validated and are sitting in the admin
queue?

Gustavo, do you check to see who needs books because
their subscriptionn is coming due soon and check those
books for approval first? Otherwise a person could be
in deep kaka.

Cindy
