Saint Cindy took it!

Most of us do read the whole book, whereas scanners may or may not. There is so much that can be missed by a spellcheck.

I spellchecked a book Wednesday and checked the pages. But I'm feeling guilty, even if I'm 99% sure it was fine.

That's probably one I'd just reject, but then, that's just me. If there's
too much missing text, the book isn't complete, and with validators getting
the lesser credit, I don't believe validators should really have to do that
much work on a scan like that...unless you want to, of course. In that case,
have fun. <smile> Take care.

Hi. Mao's Last Dancer has been on step-one for quite a while, so I took it.
There are lots of words missing--probably in the margins. It can be read
with intuition. Now, should I put it in the poor category? Most of it
scanned quite well. Should I put it in good? It doesn't seem that good, in
that some words are partial, some gone completely, and I can't guess at what
they are. Should I reject it? Should I release it and let someone else,
someone more patient than I, see if he/she can figure it out?
