I write.

For example.

Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots (The Adventures of the Bailey School kids #1)

That way you know. And you are right it is never uniform on Bookshare at
all.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] How to Format Titles in A Series

I was wondering if there is a prefered method for formatting a title that is
part of a series. For example, I want to submit Crown of Stars, Volume 7 of
the Crown of Stars series, and soon I expect to submit volumes in The
History of Middle-earth series, such as Book of Lost Tales; The History of
Middle-earth Volume One. I was looking at some of the series on Jake's
site, but I don't see any indication that the books in the few I looked at
are in a series, if you were to just come upon them in Bookshare. Should I
just leave this information out? and just put in the title? In the Crown of
Stars, it does actually say Volume 7 of Crown of Stars on the title page,
but in the History of Middle-earth books, it does not actually say The
History of Middle-earth Volume whatever on the title page. that information
is on its own separate page. However, Amazon does break out the series, and
it is written this way. I want people to know that these books are part of
a series, but I do not want to enter this title incorrectly. I noticed that
in the books by David Eddings, such as The Diamond Throne (The Elenium, Book
1), the series information is included, but I do not know if it is written
this way in the book or if this is the way series information is supposed to
be entered if it is not actually part of the title. If there is a tip on
Jake's site on this - admittedly rather trivial matter - I did not see it.

Just a bit of advice would be welcome.

Thanks.
