From what I can tell, the solution appears to be a straightforward simple 
one.
The only book requiring any editing is

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

All of the other British books in the collection have the phrase (British 
Edition) included as part of the title.
Hence, if you added that phrase as part of the title line, I believe we 
could clear up the confusion for once and all.
