[bksvol-discuss] Halloween Books and the Approval Queue

For three years so far, Lissi and I have done quite a few books for many of the
Holidays, including Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and
Halloween. We have one Halloween book waiting on the Approval queue now, and
another is being proofread. But we have several more short ones that I can
scan. We are not sure, however, whether we should do them at this time or not.
Given the lengthy Approval queue, with 321 books at the time of checking, we're
wondering whether they would be approved in time for people to read them before
Halloween, even if approvals resume tomorrow. (I don't know how fast books can
be approved.) Could Bookshare give us any indication as to when volunteer books
will once again be added to the collection?

Thanks much.

I made an offhand remark to Lissi the other day that I haven't seen this kind
of approval drought since our humorous friend Gustavo was around. Some of you
who've been here a long time might appreciate the joke.
