Hi Chris.

Yes, do it as follows:

[illustration: what's in the illustration.]

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

    Hi Chris,

Here are the guidelines. For the following, an image is the same
as a picture and both are the same as an illustration.

    1. Images must be removed. Instead in place of the image just type
in the following: [Image Removed]. Make sure you put the phrase
"image removed" inside of square brackets, which is typed as
    follows: left-square-bracket image removed right-square-bracket.
    2. If the image has a caption that correctly scanned, do the
following: put square brackets around the caption. To do this, put
the phrase "caption:" inside of square brackets, and in front of
the sentence or sentences that make up the caption. So you will
type in : left-square-bracket caption colon space the image
    caption sentence right-square-bracket.
    3. Alternatively, you can remove the image and replace it with a
written image description. A written image descriptions may be
substituted (usually this is only done if the scanner is sighted,
or you have a sighted proofreader who can look at the image and
describe it. If you ever want to do that, just post and ask for
    instructions.

    I hope that helps. smile.
