OH, ok.
Thanks everyone.

I knew the shift 6 command which produces the caret but my version of Word, 2002, hates that one. I know that a paragraph marker is ^p so I thought there might be a different way to input the caret.

Hello, all. Does anyone know the code for a caret in Word? I try to do a search and replace so I can delete all of them from a document but it won't let me put that character in the find box by itself.
