I liked Steinbeck as well.  My favorite is Cannery Row.  It is very
humorous, and some of his books, because they tell it like it was, I find
rather depressing.

I liked the Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men.

But each is to their own.

I didn't like Catcher in the Rye either. I think it's
a "boys'" book. After I read it and began to think
about it I realized that all the people who's toutedit
