Thank you, Allison. Nothing would be nicer than to chat with another Tolkien
fan. I have windows messenger, but don't know how to add you to my contacts.
The contacts I have seem to have appeared there magically. Two of them have
been people I know of, but I think didn't mean to add themselves.
I'll go to Windows messenger and read to see how to add contacts, or could
look into using MSN again. After my crash I was switched from MSN Messenger
to Windows Messenger without knowing it. They work almost the same. If you

Meanwhile I need to download and read The Book of Lost Tales part 1 as I
haven't read it. I do own the print book in a single volume edition. Most
of my Tolkien time is devoted to the LOTR trilogy, but I'm always expanding
my Tolkien reading and study.

You can certainly validate it. I tend to read through a book and clean it
up before submission, but you can be the first to read it. It's great to
