I want to recognize and applaud the efforts of two special Bookshare
volunteers who have done work that makes Bookshare a timely and
relevant service for members. Within 2 weeks of her nomination for
vice president, Dave Russell submitted a book about Sarah Palin.
Voters with a print disability have timely information about this
candidate as well as information about both presidential candidates
from books written by the candidates themselves. No matter how you
intend to vote, I'm sure you would agree that having access to these
books before the election is a great step forward. Knowledge is power,
and that power gives us a choice. Unless it's already in their
pipeline, NLS won't get this book for awhile, long after the election
is over. Thank you, Dave, and thanks to the validater for processing
the book so quickly. You're empowering all of us who want to know more
about Sarah. If anyone wants to read it, visit
http://www.bookshare.org/web/SingleTitle.html?submittitleid=54265

The book is called Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska's Political
Establishment Upside Down by Kaylene Johnson.
