I will commit to doing both the Null-A books. I must admit to feeling a bit guilty here because while I had checked on van Vogt about four months ago, I noticed that these books were missing, but forgot about submitting them. Feeling a bit guilty because van Vogt is not only a major SF writer, but has been important to me personally. The World of Null-A was responsible for leading me to investigate General Semantics, which has been a big influence in my intellectual and psychological development. So it's a very important book to me, besides being a classic of Science Fiction. Both Null-A books should very definitely be a part of the Bookshare collection. Since I read through everything I submit or validate, I can assure that they will at least approach Publisher Quality.
Unfortunately, it may not be until October before I can submit them. I have some traveling plans coming up in a week or so, and I will probably have to buy the books, and I do have a couple other commitments ahead of them. But I will take care of them before the end of October.

Hi, I wish to add Some of A. E. van Vogt's best books to the sketchy list already available. Empire of the Atom and The Wizard of Linn. These two volumes are extrapolations into a post atomic war of I, Claudius by Robert Graves. In this future, a mutant begins to learn why and how his civilization had been reduced from a highly technological civilization to relative barbarism where they could use atomic power in space ships without understanding the science. When Earth is invaded by the Riss, he learns who had had been the other party to the war. He must learn how to deal with these aliens and relearn the old science that could lead him to a solution. The World of Null-A and The Players of Null-A. These two books imagine an attempt to build a civilization of the mind based on Alfred Korzybski's theory of General Semantics. A Galactic empire begins to see such a clear-thinking society as very dangerous and plots to destroy it. A mysterious figure, Gilbert Gosseyn, appears to prevent his society's destruction. His mysterious background constitutes the chief plot of these two novels. The Voyage of the Space Beagle. The origin of this science fiction extrapolation is obvious. Vogt adds the fascinating science of nexialism to the mix of sciences competing for standing during this exploration of the Galaxy. Marion Zimmer Bradley. Hunters of the Red Room (This novel has a second volume, but I can't remember the title.). A lone sailor is snatched from his sailboat by an alien spacefaring race and sold to the hunters of the Red Moon. He is put with a team of other kidnappees to fight for survival with shape-changing aliens. Should they win, great rewards are promised. A good adventure and refreshingly different from Bradley's Bloody Sun novels. Thanks for adding these novels to the wish list. By the way, I tried to scan the first two novels, above, but just couldn't get a good enough copy to bother sending it. --Larry Gasser, landj06@xxxxxxxxxxx .***WISH LIST (CALLED REQUESTED ADDITIONS TO THE BOOKSHARE COLLECTION)IS AVAILABLE AThttp://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/Book_Requests.htm http://www.friendsofbookshare.org/ http://studentpages.alma.edu/~07jmyate/book_requests.htmA LIST OF BOOKS CURRENTLY BEING SCANNED IS AVAILABLE AT http://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/scanning.htmlhttp://www.friendsofbookshare.org/ Jake's site for useful links: http://www.jbrownell.com/bkslinks.html To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
