I headed to Freeman Lake early yesterday morning to look for the
Red-throated Loon Jennifer saw on Wednesday even though I knew there wasn't
much chance since the Grahams couldn"t find it around 10AM yesterday.
I was by myself so I took my dogs and we walked the five miles around
Freeman Lake and I carried my scope. It was a beautiful day for a walk and
I didn't see a Red-throated Loon but I did get a nice species list I posted
to Freeman Lake on ebird.
A photographer from the paper stopped and took a few pictures and here is
