Any update. I am at 1701 Russel Cave Road and haven’t seen it.

We went to find the Taylor County snowy owl today, which as of this morning
was still on location where BPB reported it yesterday.
The bird was first found sitting on a post behind a white metal shed at
37.410005, -85.331507. It was not visible from the front of the house, but
by driving a short way up the next driveway to the southwest, at 37.408747,
-85.333248, we were able to see the bird easily. The bird then took off,
flying rapidly with strong wingbeats, out of sight through the blowing snow,
to the southeast. Five minutes later we saw it flying again over the same
field. We drove up to the house at 37.408086, -85.332690 (same one with the
aforementioned driveway) to ask permission to look for the owl from their
driveway. Since they weren’t home, we assumed they were OK with that.
The owl was sitting on a fence that crossed the field and gave us great
looks through a scope until we left. We left it sitting on a post at about
37.408186, -85.329854.
Thanks to Pam Spaulding, who helped us locate the bird to begin with.
I have little previous experience with snowy owls, but this bird looked
healthy and active to us.
