I’m interested in your Cardinal comment, Mike. Just today, I was surprised to
see a male Cardinal near our garden. I remarked to my wife, “Where are the
Cardinals? We’re not seeing Cardinals like we usually do.

Most winters, Cardinals are one of the most common birds at our feeders.
Some days we would count twenty or more. So far this year, no Cardinals.
There were few last year also, but I attributed that to the mild winter.
Anyone noticing something like this? Wish I had kept up with project feeder
watch.
