database has grown, these updates have required more and more updating time.

What you see now in life lists, range maps, and review queues may be some
counter intuitive mixes of slashes (e.g., White-winged/Stejneger's Scoter,
Black-faced/Andean Ibis, African/Madagascar Sacred Ibis, and others) where
you expect to see full species.
All of this is normal and it will just take a few days to work itself out
in the system. A full story explaining the splits, lumps, and other changes
will be published soon once a few more of the changes become evident to
users.
We recommend submitting a list from eBird Mobile from somewhere new
tomorrow morning just to make sure that the taxonomy update propagates
properly to the filters stored on your phone.
