I saw about 300 sandhills flying north over Crandall, Ind. in Harrison County.
Then about l5 minutes later about 7 sandhills flew over with a whooper in the
middle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had asked Del Streigel years ago, if it
would be real obvious to see a whooper that high, he said YES. So today, I
finally did see one. I have seen a few whoopers take off from the ground in
Jackson County over the years, but, never migrating. Wonder where he/she was
going?????? It was a fantastic sight!
