Interesting article, Steve. I have a strong aversion to most human-made noises
and have been concerned about it’s effects on our wildlife! I think that much
of it is psychologically and physically damaging to humans, as well.

in the San Francisco area. It is mostly about urban settings, but farming
produces lots of industrial-grade noise in our rural areas. As I write this,
there is a grain dryer screaming, to the southwest, that is drowning the
early morning bird sounds.
