Join us for a 1-day workshop focused on Flying WILD and Project FeederWatch.
Flying WILD includes 43 activities focused on learning about birds, bird
migration, and bird habitat through quizzes, contests, and hands-on projects.
Project FeederWatch is a project of Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Bird Studies
Canada that allows people of all skill levels and backgrounds to engage in
Citizen Science by participating in bird counts in their backyards, schools,
parks, community education, county Extension offices, etc. Six hours of
education is required to use this curriculum. Most of the session will be
indoors but a portion may be outdoors so dress appropriately for the weather
and walking on a trail. Registration fee: $30 (includes a Flying WILD
Educator’s Guide and bird feeder). Participants are asked to bring their own
brown bag lunch and beverage. To register contact Ashley Osborne at
