My initial plan for this morning’s farm circle was to pause along the way to
grub a few multi-flora roses. That went out the window when I spotted some
shorebirds that weren’t Killdeer at a wet spot on the next farm. Doubled back
to the house to get scope. Payoff was 4 Greater Yellow-legs and 3 Solitary
Sandpipers. Don’t usually carry scope on farm circle. Since I had it today, I
took some pictures at woods food rock. Only problem I had there was getting an
entire bird in the frame.
