Heard one woodcock "peenting" in Sawyer State Park at 6:56 pm tonight -
Jan. 29.
Park in Hurstbourne Parking Lot - walk up maintenance road on left side
of Lot - walk past Airfield Strip on left - walk past Goose Creek Trail
sign on right - walk past (woodcock field #1) - walk past treed brushy
area on right - stop at next field (woodcock field #2).
Heard small flock of sandhill cranes fly over southwest corner of park.
