My friend and I stood in drizzling rain at Bailey's Point for 20 minutes
looking through a scope at 14 geese and duck mix on the opposite side trying to
just identify one of them. When the guy in the boat came to get in his duck
blind, we figured it out.

So I was out in Wyoming in 2016. Came to a “T” intersection across from a barn
complex and noticed a an owl on the cross piece of power pole.
I pulled over and with my camera crept closer to check it out. I didn’t have my
bins with me. I kept getting closer and it didn’t seem to notice me.
Finally I realized that it was a decoy used to keep birds away. So I have about
8 shots of a plastic owl.
