I was surprised by the appearance of a Veery at Anchorage Trail this morning.
The bird was on the pedestrian trail about halfway between the little bridge
(the one with damaged planks marked by orange cones) and the main trail.
I am stopping by the Falls now and will go to Melco afterward. Depending on
what’s at the Falls, I expect to be at Melco by 4pm today.
