After Industrial Park Pond I drove by the Sauerheber Unit of the Sloughs. I was
looking for any swans there, without any luck.
1000s of Snow Geese though.
Then I drove out to HRS looking for Swans there about 8AM. Again: none.
Next I birded the Jenny Hole eastern section away from the duck hunters (I
could hear their shot guns occasionally).
Finally one more check at HRS. And they were back. Several flying in as I
arrived.
Associating with them was some kind of duck I could not ID.
