Tundra Swans in Henderson Co.
The numbers of Tundra Swans in Henderson Co. has been declining.
I saw 60 at the Sloughs Wood Tract on 2/13.
Wood Tract was starting to dry up.
Zero seen on 2/15
Finally Brainard located 64 at Horseshoe Rd slough on 2/16
I had 62 on 2/17 at HRs
36 on 2/21
25 on 2/27
22 on 2/28
Today 3/3 None.
Unless they are in back areas of the Sloughs, they may be gone.
Geese in Henderson Co.
Snows 4 on 2/17, and 1 on 2/28 at J Dance Rd. None since.
Greater White-fronted last seen on 2/28.
Canadas 4 on 3/3.
