[birdky] Transient Pools 14 June 2008

Tom Durbin and I checked some spots today with the following highlights:

MORGAN'S POND
Blue-winged Teal (at least 10 broods)
Ruddy Duck (6)
Pied-billed Grebe (6)
Great Egret
American Coot (5)
Black-necked Stilt (at least 5 incubating)
Semipalmated Sandpiper 
Black Tern

HWY 79 POOL/Todd County
Great Egret (3)

GUTHRIE 
Bald Eagle (adult)
Least Tern
DC Cormorant

I checked Chaney on the way home and it is down to shallow pools in the main 
basin with the following present:

Mallard (2+ broods)
Blue-winged Teal (2 or 3 broods)
Pied-billed Grebe
Great Blue Heron (20+)
American Coot
