McElroy is now a disked field and the Wilson's Phalarope nest is gone. A female Blue-winged Teal with brood has been present in the ditch which still has a small amount of water in it. Chaney is dropping quickly but still has a few Blue-winged Teal present as well as Semipalmated Plovers, Semipalmated Sandpipers, and White-rumped Sandpipers in low numbers. A Solitary Sandpiper was observed there yesterday, 4 June. A check of Morgan's Pond in Christian County on 4 June yielded the following highlights: Blue-winged Teal w/broods Ring-necked Duck Ruddy Duck American Coot Black-necked Stilts incubating Semipalmated sandpiper White-rumped Sandpiper Pectoral Sandpiper Black Tern David L.
