The Martins are back as are the Tree Swallows. Bluebirds are nesting as are
the Phoebes. All are part of a (fragile) community with the house sparrows,
although I did find a dead female bluebird in her box a few days ago. Hmmm.
Resident ducks on our pond continue to come to the front door and stare
inside, expecting their corn.
Cliff swallows are back at the Gradyville underpass at the Cumberland
Parkway. No eagle nesting this year in Metcalfe County on Hwy 80 at the
Mosby Ridge Road.
