I thought I had it figured out. Jeeves must stop by Gourmet Rock on the way to
the other rocks first thing in the morning. I began stakeout before dawn today,
pointed scope at Gourmet Rock, waited.....waited....and waited. Jeeves finally
appeared at the usual spot on Sunflower rock at 7:43. By the time I shifted
focus I missed getting anything but one shot too blurry to keep. Besides
starting early, I made one other change that seemed to have an affect. I draped
burlap across the front of the canopy, hiding myself up to about my shoulders.
More individual birds came to Gourmet Rock, Mourning Doves came in greater
numbers and were less skittish, and a flock of Cowbirds didn't notice me at
all. 3 new pics here, but no Jeeves.
