In answer to Andrew Melnykovych, I birded areas in Shaker Village yesterday
and I, also, found the Loggerhead Shrikes where Kyle said he found them.
There were indeed many Yellow-breasted Chats in many areas there but another
place to see a lot of them is Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. Northern Bobwhites
can also be heard at both locations, but more likely at Shaker Village since
they have special restoration and management areas for maintaining them there.
I would like to add that if anyone wants to see or take photos of Grasshopper
Sparrows, I found at least 10 of them (heard and seen) in another area of
Shaker Village and feel free to email me for the exact location off the Tanyard
Trail. (I have also seen Henslow's Sparrows off that trail but not
yesterday....possibly nesting.)
