To build on a few recent emails on this bird line, *if anyone is
visiting the short-eared owl site in Grayson County, please do NOT return
this winter*.
I don't know how or who, but someone's activities over there have made some
of the local property owners very unhappy with us. As Brainard has pointed
out on several occasions, relations with landowners are important for a
number of reasons. If you might be trespassing or disrupting someone's
life, stop doing what you're doing. Put that way, it's pretty simple, isn't
it?
