After reading Brian's email, I went to Mayfair and took some
pictures.Identifying shorebirds is very difficult for a novice like me but it
appeared there was a single Western Sandpiper amidst the Semipalmated and White
rumped peeps. This bird had significantly more rufous patches on its head and
cheek. There is also picture of what I thought was the Alder flycatcher.
However, it remained silent throughout and was not co-operative enough to
provide its "voice recognition ID".These need confirmation from more
experienced birders and experts..I shall await your comments.

I stopped by the Louisville treatment plant ponds off Mayfair this afternoon
and heard both Alder and Willow flycatchers. A nice group of maybe 50
shorebirds was also present, mostly semipalmated sands but there were two
White-rumped Sandpipers and a few Semipalmated Plovers.
