Despite a late start, had a productive walk at Beckley Creek Grand Allee
today. Two flocks of FO Sandhill Cranes, more bluebirds than I have seen
since before the freeze, which was encouraging, a good-sized bunch of
blackbirds that looked to be mostly Rusties,and a Lincoln's Sparrow. Also a
Purple Finch. Very nice day to be out.
