My husband and I were delighted to watch and listen to multiple flocks of
Sandhill Cranes flying over the Highlands. We got a good look at one group
flying lower than the others. We had unobstructed views because we were at
Atherton High School in the fields throwing a ball for our dog. The
sighting was between 2-2:30pm and totaled over 150. Wonderful Christmas
present and reward for braving the cold!
