With the lack of rain recently, increasing areas of mudflats at the lake are
being exposed and various shorebirds are visiting, including (seen today) least
sandpipers, a solitary solitary sandpiper, semi-palmated plovers, and numerous
(~10) killdeer. A single sanderling was also observed. A photo is attached.
