For the sec0nd day in a row we have had a special visitor while eating
breakfast in our second story sunroom. Of yes, and was this ever an early
arrival, AN EXTRAORINARILY BEAUTIFUL MALE SUMMER TANAGER. And, once again
as I am posting, the bird was chowing down on the suet cake. On another
note, the female cardinal I keeps banging at the windows. For the 4th week.
There are ONLY 14 very large windows, so there is a lot of territory for her
to cover.
Other birds seen nearby the past few days: EASTERN MEADOWLARK, BELTED
KINGFISHER, EASTERN BLUEBIRD.
Cheers to all. Stay safe and be happy.
