[birdky] SB Dowitcher & Sandpipers 6/30

Today at open pond in Fulton County the following were present.
Blue-winged Teal - 2
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Killdeer - many
Black-necked Stilt - 5 (I still have not seen any young but their behavior  
continues to indicate nesting.)
Least Sandpiper - 2
White-rumped Sandpiper - 1 ph
Short-billed Dowitcher - 1 ph
Least Tern - they also continue to show nesting behavior.  It is  unfortunate 
that the ponds are drying quickly now.  I imagine a tractor  will be plowing 
it soon.
Bank Swallow - many with young
Cliff Swallow
Barn Swallow
 
birds of note at other locations:
American White Pelican
Bald Eagle - 2
Loggerhead Shrike - 1
Field Sparrow
Dickcissel - many singing
