I had a Ruby-throated until October 29th last summer and presently have two
visiting. They love the Pineapple Sage and Mexican Sage that just started
blooming in September and may not be in a hurry to leave.
This Rufous photo is the hummer that spent last winter in Louisville. You
can see some markings that might help identify birds now in your yard. Russ
