Hi all,
Teresa Noel and I just left the Wolf Creek Dam area of Lake Cumberland. The
two Eared Grebes were out from the west side of the dam.
At the end of Old Rowena Road, there were not one, but TWO Red-throated
Loons on the lake. One was an adult with a clean gray upperparts and white
throat, and the other was a juvenile that was a little darker with some
dusky color along the neck. They actually met a couple times out on the
water which made for a nice comparison.
