While knocking ice off the feeders and refilling them, I wondered what had
become of the rb nuthatches I’d been seeing off and on for the past week. On
cue, a female landed on the suet and began feeding hungrily. She didn’t care
that I was so close. A male showed up right after that. Titmice kept veering
away as they flew up and then saw me. These two kept feeding, oblivious. Such
nice close looks at a beautiful species this morning.
