Just wanted to tie this up for those who inquired about seeing the Rufous
Hummingbird in Todd County. It wasn't seen at the feeders after release
including all day yesterday. I was hopeful it might return for a day or two,
but this early in the season I knew from what the males often do that it was
likely to be a one or two day wonder. I may have even been lucky to see it on
day two myself.
Hopefully this bodes for a good year for additional birds.
